A couple of big tech events took place in India recently, bringing new announcements. Google held its Google for India event earlier this month, where the focus was firmly on AI. The tech giant announced the "AI for Every Indian" initiative and said that its Gemini chatbot would soon support conversations in nine Indian languages. This week also saw several announcements at the Indian Mobile World Congress. At the event, Xiaomi unveiled the Redmi A4 5G as the first entry-level smartphone with a Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 chip.
