GCPL announces acquisition of Cosmetica; Ultratech, JSW Energy report Q3 numbers
Godrej Consumer Products announced plans to acquire Chile-based hair care company, Cosmetica Nacional even as it raises 685 crore by selling a stake to Tamasek India. In the earnings segment, Cement major Ultratech, JSW Energy and GCPL report their numbers, while L&T and Maruti Q3 results are to be out on Monday. Market heavyweight Reliance Industries too disappointed Dalal Street by posting the worst profit figures in 8 quarters. Also, a huge relief for Vodafone as the Supreme Court sets aside the Bombay High Court's judgement asking it to pay tax of 11,000 cr rupees for its acquisition of Hutchison's India assets in 2007.
