For the first time in the history of independent India, a retired Army general has come out and revealed before the public state secrets that ought to have remained a secret. For the first time in the history of our independence has the government publically questioned a retired Army general. Is this washing of dirty linen in public hurting India's security? Was it unworthy of the general to reveal secrets? Should the government and the general reached an understanding before levelling allegations against one another? Has the Army's image been dented?
