Genetically modified brinjal to hit market
In Hyderabad, nearly 200 varieties of brinjal are on display at a festival. And enthusiastic participants were competing to make traditional and innovative dishes. The focus was on the eggplant because this king of vegetables, which is native to India, could become the first genetically modified food crop to be allowed in India.
