German Ambassador On Partnership With India On Climate Change
The German Ambassador to India Walter J Lindner is in Mumbai to hold a host of meetings, including a meeting with representatives from the Hindi film industry to project Germany as a location to shoot films in. He will also meet other officials in Mumbai. Mr Lindner also discussed the transition in Germany as Chancellor Angela Merkel has left office after 16 years and Olaf Scholz has taken over and pledged broad "continuity" with the commitments of the popular Ms Merkel. He also spoke to NDTV about Germany's commitments to tackle climate change and partnerships with India in this area.
