Getting relief to Bihar remains difficult
As Kosi changed course, virtually inundating five districts in Bihar and dislocating life and property, more than three million were affected. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has called it a national calamity, but this is a national shame. After 20 days, getting relief to those on the ground is still a mess.
