GiveIndia And ACT Grants: Fighting The Battle Against COVID-19
In the battle against coronavirus, GiveIndia is working and supporting NGOs all across the country to gear the frontline workers. ACT Grants is a start-up community which has come forward for this cause. They joined hands with GiveIndia when the nonprofit presented the I For India concert. Supporting frontline workers and COVID warriors with PPE kits has been the major focus of ACT Grants in their partnership with GiveIndia. Together they have reached out to 35 COVID hospitals and care centres in 8 cities with PPE kits and protective gear. In their endeavors to explore newer processes to strengthen the health infrastructure, both ACT and GiveIndia are now looking at exploring interventions such as remote ICUs, rural healthcare system and collectivising rural communities.
