Asian markets traded in the red on Tuesday morning, after the Dow fell more than 600 points overnight in its worst trading session since January. The losses came after China hit back at the US by imposing a tariff of 25 per cent on $60 billion worth of American goods. The US had earlier raised tariffs on $200 billion worth of Chinese goods to 25 per cent. Analysts say the focus clearly shifts to the global financial markets for now.
