Global warming causes malaria, dengue
On World Health Day, the WHO warns of the catastrophic impact of global warming on our health, especially on vector borne diseases like malaria and dengue. A WHO study shows that in 2000, climate change was responsible for 6 per cent of the malaria deaths in the world.
