The Goa Crime Branch arrested three individuals, including a husband and wife duo, Mongesh and Reshmavadekar, along with Nimbu Vincent, in South Goa. They seized 4.32 kilograms of cocaine, worth ₹43 crore in the international market, concealed in 32 packets of chocolate and coffee. This marks the largest narcotics haul in the state. Chief Minister of Goa Pramod Sawant stated that, based on specific intelligence, the crime branch successfully apprehended the three individuals. He further added that this operation reflects the government's commitment and vigilance in our ongoing battle against drug trafficking.
