Goa's crorepati candidates
Nothing stops Goa's politicians from become richer every election. In 2007, 41% of candidates were crorepatis. That figure in this election has jumped to 71%. The assets of candidates have jumped by 400% to even 4000%. And a number of them have been accused of corruption or of being beneficiaries of illegal mining.
