"Goddess Lakshmi Took Constitutional Form Through Women's Quota Bill": Smriti Irani
Union Minister Smriti Irani praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's efforts on the Women's Reservation Bill and said that September 19 - the day when the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam was introduced - will be remembered as a historic day. "If we look from the perspective of the dignity of the Constitution, then (Goddess) Lakshmi has taken a Constitutional form through this bill," Ms Irani said as she began her speech.
