Gondwana's search for political identity
Giving nightmares to the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Madhya Pradesh, is the fragmented polity of Gondwana. It began as a search for independent identity, but soon turned into a powerful political force. Today, as Chhotelal Thakur, the Gondwana Ganatantra Party candidate from Amarawadha constituency of the state does puja, the villagers sing along with him, and pray for an auspicious beginning.
