Chairperson of the country's biggest lender, the State Bank Of India, Rajnish Kumar lauded the interim budget tabled by the central government in parliament today. "I wasn't expecting anything more than what was there in the interim budget. The banks do well when the economy does well. Some of the decisions like flow of more money towards the rural sector, tax relief to the middle class, all these are positives. As a whole, if the economy grows, it is good for the banks," he told NDTV.
