Hindustan Copper Ltd (HCL) reported a net profit of Rs 137.43 crore for the fourth quarter of 2011-12, up 125 per cent from Rs 60.97 crore in the same period of the previous fiscal. Shakeel Ahmed, CMD, Hindustan Copper told NDTV Profit that they sold 12333 tonne of metal in the fourth quarter. "Good sales helped boost the company's performance. Now our total investment requirement stands at Rs 3435 crore," he added.
