Good monsoon carries hope of lower inflation
Will the rains quench India's agriculture and cool off inflation? The verdict is not yet out but the good news is that the monsoon is on track. The rains may even hit the Kerala coast a few days earlier than anticipated. "The conditions look favourable for monsoon's earlier onset," said RC Bhatia, Director General, India Meteorological Department.
