Good Nutrition Is The Personal Protective Equipment: Basanta Kar, Nutrition Champion

#Reimagine telethon organised as part of NDTV-UNICEF's special campaign called 'Reimagine Our Children's Future' was joined by Basanta Kar, Recipient of Global Nutrition Leadership and Transform Nutrition Champion award. At the telethon, Mr Kar said good nutrition is good life and also the personal protective equipment (PPE). However, due to the Coronavirus pandemic, Anganwadi centres are shut leading to disruption in nutrition services. Mr Kar noted that women and children have been hit hard and the pandemic has also affected the POSHAN Abhiyaan focused at solving the problem of malnutrition and anaemia.
