Google has unveiled its 'state-of-the art' quantum chip called 'Willow'. The search engine giant has labelled willow as a major step towards developing a quantum computer. Through this innovation, google claims to have made two breakthroughs - reducing errors in quantum computing and 'mind-bogglingly' fast computation. Google claims that its latest quantum chip performed a standard benchmark computation in under five minutes. Interestingly, the world's fastest supercomputers would take ten septillion years to do the same computation.
