Google's Street View and privacy concerns

The Bangalore Police has stopped Google from filming city streets for its Street Views Project.

Confirming that Google has received a letter from city Police Commissioner Jyotiprakash Mirji, a Google India spokesperson said it has stopped its cars from filming roads and neighbourhoods in Bangalore.

Google's Indian subsidiary had announced in May its plans to offer street view of Indian cities on its "Maps" platform beginning with Bangalore.
