Got no specific warning from Home Minister on Muzaffarnagar: Akhilesh Yadav
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has told NDTV that he got no specific warning from the Centre on Muzaffarnagar. In an exclusive interview with NDTV's Group Editor Barkha Dutt, Akhilesh said that Union Home Minister Sushil Shinde had called him up, but the warning he gave was generic. Mr Shinde had earlier said that he had warned the UP government before the violence broke out Muzaffarnagar earlier this month.
