Government, Insurance Companies Should Pay For Coronavirus Tests: Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw
Biocon Chairperson Kiran Mazumdar Shaw spoke to NDTV about making coronavirus tests free for all at government and private labs. The onus of paying for the tests shouldn't be on the diagnostic companies but the government and the insurance companies should bear the cost, she said. More rapid tests in high risk communities should be conducted, Ms Shaw said.
