Government is Cheating People: Resul Pookutty on FTII Chief's Appointment
Actor Gajendra Chauhan's appointment as chief of the Film and Television Institute of India or FTII has been criticized by its distinguished alumnus Resul Pookutty. The Oscar-winning sound engineer told NDTV that he doubted Mr Chauhan's ability to inspire confidence. "I don't think the present council and its members and its chairman, who is appointed by the government of India, is anything to be aspired for. I think that is cheating. " Mr Pookutty said.
