It's one month of the demonetisation scheme. While queues at ATMs haven't disappeared at all, still the government is absolutely clear that this is a fight not just against black money but is also a part of a tectonic shift to a digital, largely cash-less society. And to that end, the government announced several measures, 11 of them in fact, to encourage citizens to transact electronically.
