More controversy broke out today over the government's claims of bringing black money to India. The government had given a three-month compliance period, from July 1 to September 30, for Indian tax payers to voluntarily declare the money in foreign banks. Bringing back black money and ensuring that culprits are penalized was a key campaign promise of the BJP in 2014 General Elections. Do the disclosures match the hype?
