Government vs Politics: PM Blurs Lines?
As per rules, party pays for political travel, government pays for government travel. But the Prime Minister, who is also an active political campaigner, has blurred the lines, more than in the past - raising a number of questions: Who is paying? Should the government work be clubbed with political activity? And are these last ditch travels justified?
