Governor Sends Bengal Anti-Rape Bill To President For Consideration

West Bengal Governor CV Ananda Bose referred the anti-rape Bill passed by the assembly to President Droupadi Murmu for her consideration. Mr Bose, who was handed over the technical report of the bill by Chief Secretary Manoj Pant, referred the Bill to President Murmu after going through it. The Governor accused the state government of "lapses" in the bill.
