Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin has urged non-BJP ruled States to pass resolutions in their respective Assemblies urging the Centre to fix a time limit for Governors to approve bills passed by the legislatures. Writing to his counterparts, Mr Stalin said some "Governors today are indefinitely holding various bills" that have been duly passed by the State legislatures and sent for approval. It brought the respective State administrations to a standstill in such areas related to the bills, he said.
