Govt, BJP differ on appointment to National Human Rights Commission
The Union government and Opposition may be heading for yet another showdown on the subject of key appointments. NDTV has learnt that the BJP is planning to formally oppose -- in the form of moving a dissent note - a proposal to appoint National Investigation Agency (NIA) director SC Sinha as a member of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC).
