Govt building consensus on Office of Profit Bill
The government is now making efforts to rope in the Opposition as well to try and present a united political front for the Office of Profit bill. To save 43 MPs from being disqualified over the office of profit issue, the Manmohan Singh government is looking for a polite way to turn down the President's request to rethink the bill.
