Govt committed to a strong Lokpal: PM's New Year message

In a New Year message to the nation, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today said that he will personally work to provide an honest and a more efficient government. The PM also said that the government is committed to a strong Lokpal and that it was unfortunate that the bill could not be passed in the Rajya Sabha.
