Govt considering financing options for agri waiver
The easier task of announcing the debt relief package has been done by politicians. Now comes the difficult part as officials in the finance machinery are looking for ways and means to finance it. Although nothing concrete has emerged so far in the public domain, discussions on raising more revenue to fund government expenditure commonly known as supplementary demand for grants will be carried out in the parliament on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
