The Indian Air Force flew special planes to airlift stranded people in Jammu and Kashmir, and some 1500 people were rescued on Saturday. The government is dropping them to Srinagar or to Jammu. Group Captian V Prakash, Station commander Airforce station, Jammu said, '' Today the weather is good in both the valley and Jammu, we will try and take the maximum sorties today and the operation will continue for the whole day.''
