Govt sanctions action in Yunus killing
It was one of Mumbai's most notorious custodial death cases. The alleged torture and murder of Khwaja Yunus, a young computer engineer suspected to have been involved in the December 2002 Ghatkopar blast case is making headlines once again. But now, five years after 14 policemen were arrested for Yunus's death in custody, sanction for the state CID to prosecute four policemen has finally seen the light of the day.
