Govt to push for Domestic Workers Bill

In a landmark step towards regularising the large and sometimes chaotic unorganised sector, the government is all set to push for the Domestic Workers (Registration, Social Security and Welfare) Act. After this act, hiring a live-in help could mean mandatory health checks and basic minimum wages for her.
