Gramalaya's Handwashing Challenge Begins!
The 2023-24 audit findings from the Dettol School Hygiene Program reveal impressive results, highlighting how handwashing positively influences children's well-being and awareness of disease prevention. Notably, 82% of children now understand the connection between handwashing and preventing Diarrhea. Additionally, those who use Dettol handwash are 3.3 times more likely to wash their hands at critical moments, as recommended by the WHO. To further promote hygiene, Gramalaya in Thiruchirappalli is hosting a handwashing challenge as part of the Dettol Banega Swasth India School Hygiene curriculum.
