Three-time Grammy Award winner music composer Ricky Kej has said that he is "really honoured and thrilled" to release the new version of the national anthem on Independence Day. Speaking to news agency ANI, Mr Kej said, "I am really honoured and thrilled that we are going to release a new version of the national anthem on this Independence Day. I took the British orchestra and got the best classical musicians from India like Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia and Rakesh Chaurasia and others. They did a fabulous job of interpreting the national anthem beautifully… The music lesson that I took with Kalinga Institute Odisha became a Guinness world record…. The national anthem was the first piece of music that I had learnt as a child. National Anthem is my favourite piece of music and that's why I keep making different versions of it."
