"Grave Attack On Constitution": Asaduddin Owaisi On Waqf Bill
All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen chief Asaduddin Owaisi today said that the introduction of the Waqf (Amendment) Bill is a "grave attack" on the basic structure of the Constitution. Speaking in Lok Sabha, he said it "violates the principle of judicial independence and separation of powers". Mr Owaisi also claimed that the House did not have the competence to make the amendments.
