Greenathon buzz: India thinking green
Green is the big buzz word now after the first NDTV Toyota Greenathon, which had a huge response with over Rs two crore in donations and counting. For the first time 75 villages will get light powered by a clean source of energy -- the sun, but what this has created is even more important. Greenathon was a crucial wake-up call for Indians. A 25-hour event that brought together celebrities and the common man to do their bit by setting an example for the world.
