It was a CCTV footage from Kerala's Pattanamthitta that provided the first clue to the police in the 'human sacrifice' case. Police said the main accused, Muhammad Shafi, is a psychopath and sexual pervert, who planned and executed the murders, roping in a couple -- Bhagaval Singh and his wife Laila -- promising them financial gains through ritual killings.
