Growing divide in Assam's riot-hit Udalguri
Riots of October 2008 in Assam's Udalguri left a lakh and fifty thousand displaced and more than 50 dead. The riot hit villages are still deserted after three months. Some of the villagers in the Muslim village have apparently returned but outsiders are not allowed to meet them. BSF personnel on duty say they have orders not to allow any civilians beyond a point.
