Growth impacted by monetary tightening: Pranab
Finance minister Pranab Mukherjee said inflation above 9 per cent continues to be a matter of concern. There have been signs of growth being affected by monetary tightening in the recent data of real economy. The Centre is hopeful that measures taken would take the economy back to a more comfortable inflation situation earlier rather than later.
