NDTV Report: 9 Arrested, None Named In FIR In Gujarat Bridge Tragedy
A day after 141 people died in a bridge collapse at Gujarat's Morbi, nine people, including officials of Oreva, the company that renovated the bridge, were arrested. However, no one has been named in the police FIR. Authorities also did not appear to know that the bridge had been thrown open for public, reports NDTV's Ankit Tygai from Morbi. The NDTV reporter, despite several attempts, failed to contact the local municipal chief.
