After more than 15 days of the Morbi bridge collapse where 135 people died, the municipal corporation of Morbi took responsibility of the tragedy in an affidavit submitted in the Gujarat High Court. It took the Gujarat High Court to send two notices for the government authority to own up to their criminal negligence. But the owner of Oreva company, which got the contract to renovate the bridge, is roaming freely. His name has not been included in the first information report, or FIR. But three poor men who worked with Oreva as labourers for Rs 100 were made the scapegoat of the tragedy. NDTV meets their families, who say their sons are paying the price to save the big fish.
