What First-Time, Young Voters Say As Gujarat Struggles With 'Urban Apathy'
A day after the Election Commission appealed to the people of Gujarat to come out in large numbers to vote in the second phase of the assembly election tomorrow, we speak to first-time and young voters about what they plan to do. Many first-time voters show subdued enthusiasm to vote. The Election Commission has criticised "urban apathy" for not voting. "I will not vote. I feel my vote will not make a difference. The party that is winning will continue to win," a young voter told NDTV. "I feel the party that is prominent in Gujarat is already in a winning position," another said.
