Gujarat HC cancels Kodnani's bail
The Gujarat High Court has cancelled the anticipatory bail of Gujarat Child Welfare Minister Maya Kodnani. This is a huge blow for the Narendra Modi-led government in Gujarat and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ahead of the national elections. The High Court rejected the defence counsel's plea to stay the judgement for a period of six weeks. Now decks are clear for the arrest of Kodnani.
