Gujarat riot victims await justice
Six years ago, on February 28, Gujarat was burned for more than 48 hours. More than 2,000 people were killed during one of the worst communal riots, the country has ever witnessed. Four years ago, the National Human Rights Commission had raised doubts about a fair trial in Gujarat with the court putting a stay on all cases. Justice, it seems, is still a distant hope.
