A narrow uphill passage is the only way to reach the Pavagarh temple in Panchmahals district of Gujarat, where six lakh people had assembled to offer puja on the third day of Navratri. Most of them stood in queue, waiting for darshan. But not everyone was lucky, 12 died in a stampede while 13 others were injured.
