Heavy rain and strong winds lashed parts of Gujarat, including Ahmedabad. Many trees were uprooted and roads were blocked on Sunday. Uprooted trees have also damaged cars. No loss of life has been reported yet. Notably, IMD has predicted thunderstorms accompanied by rain, with prolonged showers throughout the week in the city.
