Gujarat Villages On High Alert After Water Released From Ukai Dam

15 gates of Ukai Dam built over Tapi River in Gujarat were opened today to release water, leading to flood-like situation in the low-lying areas. "Several villages along the Tapi River have been put on alert," officials said.
