Gujjar protest hits rail traffic
Agitating gujjars once again occupied the railway tracks at Pilupura - the scene of a violent agitation in May 2008 when they remained on this critical Mumbai-Delhi railway line for over a month. Hoping to bring the govt on bended knees to the negotiating table, gujjars in Rajasthan have once again adopted strong arm tactics demanding the implementation of 5 % reservation in a special category.
